What I can do for you
Orchestrate the elements of your IT environment until both software and hardware sing. I can help you converge resources around services instead of products so you'll be more efficient, nimble, and cost-effective. Need to upgrade to Microsoft® Windows® 7? I can help you do that seamlessly and according to the needs of different users, even in a converged or virtualized environment.
What I do for HP
My role is really about enabling the clients in my region. As an Information Solution Architect, I work with them to understand their business needs, identify assets and gaps in their current infrastructure, and detail a blueprint for consolidation. Our team has quantitative and qualitative tools to match functionality and cost of ownership to your objectives so you get an architecture that meets your technology and business goals.
Given my background, I have a special interest in designing consolidation strategies that maximize the benefit of running Microsoft software on HP hardware. I've recently trained members of our team in Microsoft Virtualization and supported clients interested in adopting other advanced technologies early.
What I have learned
If you keep working hard at what you do, you'll eventually be known for it. I'm known for being Mr. Core Infrastructure and a real expert in the field of client and server virtualization. For me that's a great achievement. I was actually named a Microsoft Virtualization Most Valuable Player, so I guess it's official. Apparently, there are only a few of us going around worldwide.
Background
I've been in the industry for more than 20 years and have been recognized for my proven project methodology and expertise with Microsoft Core Infrastructure technology. I literally grew up with Microsoft technology and have numerous Microsoft certifications (including Certified Software Engineer and IT Professional) as well as certifications in Citrix and VMware systems.
